What's Happening at Hopesprings?

Community Group: We are starting Community Groups back up in September. For this season of community group, we will meet once a month after our Sunday gathering for lunch together at the space. There will also be men's and women's groups that meet every other week. Days and times are still being finalized for these two groups.

September 3 at 12:00 PM - Stay after the gathering for lunch at the space.

Hopesprings hangs out with the clients at Opportunities Unlimited each week. Opportunities Unlimited provides comprehensive rehabilitation therapy and services to children and adults in the community with a special need. OU is located at 3439 Glen Oaks Blvd in Sioux City. Join us August 2, August 16 and August 30 at 11:15 AM in the main building and/or August 9 and August 23 at 6:00 PM in the Oakshire House.

September 9: Hopesprings in the Neighborhood - 10AM - 12PM
We need to know our neighbors! We will be offering to mow people's lawns and handing out baked goods to some of the homes around our space. Let us know if you are able to help mow or able to knock on doors to deliver the treats. We also will need people to make 1 or 2 dozen cookies or treats prior to the event.

September 15: Park(ing) Day - 9AM - 2PM
Park(ing) Day is a community event where parking spaces in downtown Sioux City are turned into interactive public places. Hopesprings will be participating in the event as a way to love the people in our community! The event is from 10AM - 2PM. We need help with set up as well as running the "booth". Click here for more info on the event.

October 7: Girls Inc. Free Autumn Festival - 11AM - 3PM
Girls Inc. is putting on a Free Autumn Festival at Cook Park, which is right down the road from our space. The organization is looking for volunteers to help with this event. We are still waiting on details on what Hopesprings will be doing to help, but we know they are in need of volunteers. Let's help out another organization looking to love and serve our neighborhood.
